Balanced Scorecard - Edit Free-Text Cell
This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode with the Objectives Grid clicked & the Initiatives showing.
- The Initiative text is displaying inside the text box and the text has been changed.
- The Initiative Text is a free-text column (not list-based) because this text is almost never repeated.

This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode with the Objectives Grid clicked & the Initiatives showing.
- The Account Code selections are displaying inside the Drop-Down control.
- This column was setup as List-Based because these are standard codes and they need to be cross-referenced.

This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode and in the process of adding a new Objectives Grid row.
- The Objectives that were defined in the Strategy Map are available in the drop-down list.
- The next column to defined will be the KRA or KPI which defines how that Objectives relates to a person.

- The Initiatives Text is being typed into the text box and the grid updates as we type.
- When we designed the Initiatives Grid we chose a free-text column as the initiatives text is never repeated.

- The Account code was being selected but we needed to add a new account code to the list.
- Hence we clicked on the 'Add New List Item' and we are able to add the new Account Code.

This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode and in the process of adding a new Initiatives Grid row.
- We are selecting a Date Range from the drop Down List (The Date is a list-based column).
- We are also being shown the Data-Valid grid which is only used if monthly planning is enabled.

This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode and in the process of editing an existing Initiatives row.
- We have clicked on the gauge and have decided that we want to drive the Gauge value from the Gantt Actual row.
- The red X values on the driver panel indicate invalid selections, probably because these rows are not defined.

This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode and in the process of editing the Gantt Grid Designer.
- We have clicked on the Gantt Setup Icon in the Initiatives Grid and the Options panel is displaying.
- We have decided that this grid will only have Actual Values and the cells will contain Speedometer gauges.

This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode and in the process of editing the Gantt Grid Data.
- We have clicked on the Gantt Data Icon in the Initiatives Grid and the Gantt Data panel is displaying.
- We are entering data on a scale of 0 to 100, where 100 is the best value.
- If our data required that 0 was the best score (example sick days) then we would click on the [>] button to swap.

This shows the Balanced Scorecard screen in Edit Mode and in the process of editing the Finance Grid Designer.
- We have clicked on the Finance Setup Icon in the Initiatives Grid and the Options panel is displaying.
- We have decided that this grid will also have Planned Profit and the cells will contain Currency values.
- This Finance grid design is exclusive to this Initiative.
Note: The text available for row names is limited, but will be increased when V5 is released.

- We have clicked on the Finance Data Icon in the Initiatives Grid and the Planned Finance Data panel is displaying.
- In the text box we clicked on the down arrow to display the calculator keypad and are using that to enter the data.
