    • It must be installed into the default location on C: Drive
    • This default Installation Folder will be the equivalent of "Program Files" but in your own language.
    • View English Language Install Screen -   Vista
    • View English Language Install Folder -    Vista
    • - If you need to upgrade to the Professional license later, we just email you a license file.
    • - The software detects the license file and switches into Pro or SQL modes.
  • If you did not install the .Net Framework above, this will be installed automatically, but the install will appear to take much longer.
6. Install your License and Owner-Logo files - Professional or SQL Licenses:
  • We email you these small files which will unlock the Personal Version restrictions.
  • Just save or copy these files to a folder on your computers.
    • This would typically be your "My Documents" folder or perhaps a remote shared area.
  • Start the software, login and go to the License Tab.
  • If saved to My Documents or the Desktop simply ask the software to locate the file.
    • If elsewhere then use the browse button to locate the license file.
    • If you are using the OwnerLogo file then it will be found as well.
  • Restart the Strategy Map software.
7. To run the Licensed Software in Concurrent-Multi-User mode: (Licensed Multi-User Mode Only)
  • Locate a copy of the database files on a remote shared drive (example F:\StrategyMapData\)

  • Change the Database Configuration to suit the remote file location.
    • The Configuration screen shows in the License Tab when the software is licensed.
    • If you make an error, the software will not find the database files.
    • You can also display and manually edit the database locations in the file...
    • C:\Program Files\AppliedPC\StrategyMapScorecard\StrategyMapConfig.xml
  • It is possible to also locate the Executable files on a remote shared drive.
